Not much talent required when you don't focus and just poke the camera out the window and shoot! #2 was actually at 25mph in "Downtown Rossville" - our only eatery. I had my 18-55 with a ND4, f/36, 1/2sec. ISO100. For some reason, the 4 is the strongest ND I have in 55mm dia. - gotta solve that problem. I was out hoping for some sun breaks in thick clouds across pastures and struck out, got mad and started shooting up the county - Yee haw!!🤣🤣
Thanks Tom - I would be the only other "certain" driver that early on Sunday morning out here in the boonies. What you really have to watch out for are four-wheelers popping out of fields, deer, escaped livestock and possums the size of sheep - they'll tear the undercarriage of your car plum out!
You driving and photographing....man you be talented. My favorite is #2 almost a double exposure. What was your setting on these?

ReplyDeleteCool shots. However, I can see I'll need to watch out for certain other drivers when I drive through Fayette County. :-)

DeleteLoving the first 2 the best. The diner shot is like some flashback scene in a thriller. Something sinister happened here, sort of thing.😊
ReplyDeleteThanks Gethin - something sinister did happen at the diner. Food! Everything is fried, and they haven't changed the grease in 30 years!!🤣🤣🤣
DeleteThanks Chuck - I really like the painterly effect on that one, as well.
