Who Froze My Posy?

  1. Perfect! I don't know how long it took you to freeze the flower open and "flat" but it was worth it. I've tried this before and have never been able to have the flower flat/flat. If I were forced to choose I'd say #2 is my favorite but in all honesty they are all great! Bravo!!

    1. Thanks! It wasn't easy, but I started with just a little water to "set" it, then as it became more frozen I pushed down on it. Got lucky with this one. I'm trying now with more 3D flowers to see how that works - takes much longer and many more layers of freezing.

    1. Thanks Gethin - got the idea from someone I follow on 365.org. He runs a travel photography business in Canada and he sent me a "cheat sheet" on how to prep the flowers. It's pretty easy, but does require some patience and a very cold deep freezer!

  3. Thanks Chuck! As with pretty much every thing, I'm inspired by someone else, in this case someone on 365.org - he sent me a "cheat sheet" on how to prep the flowers and I just had to, as is always the case, take about 50 exposures!
