Thanks! All but the hydrangeas are ICM's with my Nikon, Helios 81-H and a +8 ND. No post except for exposure, color and crop. The last two are with the Lumix - I brought it straight out from the A/C to 80% humidity after my walk and got a great, soft cloudy effect from the condensation on the lens. Sheer luck! Started this stuff after joining Eva Polak's Impresionist FB site - do you know her work? Figured it was quick in-and-out shooting on the patio in this horrible heat and it's been a lot of fun. Gonna try some more techniques, too.
Are these ICM's? Either way the colors are beautiful.

DeleteReally cool look, John. Also, very creative to take advantage of the lens condensation, which is pretty unavoidable this summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom - yeah, I used to really hate the condensation but now it's an opportunity. Some fun!
DeleteThanks Chuck! It was nice to see some real color in my garden after all the horrible heat - but you know about that, for sure. Try to stay cool!
